At VINNO,the first high level technology that was endowed with a soul was the RF Metadata Radio Frequency Platform.

Before the creation of RF technology all traditional color imaging technology needed a “signal preprocessing and regulation” segment which lessened the accuracy and quantity (count) of ultrasound echo signal data. There was no way to avoid the loss of potential diagnostic information in the images that were output. 

VINNO’s R&D engineers paid great attention to this widespread phenomenon among ultrasound equipment at the time. Plans were continuously scrapped and started anew, scrapped once more and started again during research. Charles, VINNO’s Product Director, remembers that: “We made six or seven modifications to the optical hardware . There were tens of thousand of software iterations.” 

In the end, a large amount of painstaking effort finally led to a breakthrough. In 2013, the research and development of VINNO’s pioneer RF Metadata Radio Frequency Platform succeeded, and achieved the complete transmission of radio frequency data information. The platform was able to clearly mirror things as large as tissues and organs in the body and as small as fingerprints and superficial micro blood vessels. It was a great help for ultrasound doctors in diagnosing the tiny foci of infections. 

Even blood flow in the fingertips can be clearly seen. There is plenty of blood visible, and there are no data overflows.

 

Mainstream manufacturers who had long since become accustomed to the distorted data of the ultrasound industry rushed in one after another the first time they noticed the vitality of metadata, and stirring up a tidal wave of R&D in RF. As the originator of the technology, VINNO chose to make RF metadata openly available to offer more possibilities for clinical scientific research. Beijing 301 Hospital, Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Nanjing General Hospital conducted relevant scientific research, and produced multiple SCI papers.
